One of our partners a logistics and supply chain household name is on the lookout for an IT Business Systems Partner to join their dynamic team.
As the IT Business Systems Partner, you will play a pivotal role in managing their IT applications portfolio. Your responsibilities will encompass project and change management, applications governance, lifecycle management, and vendor management. You'll be at the forefront of driving continuous improvement, supporting daily operations, and owning application-specific strategic goals and initiatives.

As the IT Business Systems Partner, you will play a pivotal role in managing their IT applications portfolio. Your responsibilities will encompass project and change management, applications governance, lifecycle management, and vendor management. You'll be at the forefront of driving continuous improvement, supporting daily operations, and owning application-specific strategic goals and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities;
- Contribute to IT Strategy by maintaining the IT Applications roadmap and budget, ensuring progress alignment.
- Foster strong stakeholder relationships, translating organizational goals into technology requirements.
- Lead vendor management, ensuring adherence to SLAs, positive relationships, and issue resolution.
- Drive application projects through initiation to implementation with robust project and change management governance.
- Oversee documentation, maintenance, and user requests for the application portfolio.
- Implement system security standards and governance in collaboration with the IT Operations Partner.
- Provide training to users and ensure operational support for existing applications.
- 7+ years of commercial experience in supporting core business applications.
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Business, or related discipline.
- Strong vendor management and business partnering experience.
- Proficiency in IT strategies, application roadmaps, and budget monitoring.
- Experience with SQL, API’s, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (ERP).
- Excellent communication skills, influencing abilities, and stakeholder management.
- Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously with prioritization and leadership skills.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate effectively with users of varying IT knowledge.
