Senior Algorithm Engineer

A leading Australian Tech house is seeking a Senior Algorithm Engineer to continue to enhance their ML capabilities! 

This person will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating advanced algorithmic models to enhance the capabilities of the company's suite of products. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and integrate new algorithms to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and user insights.
• Collaborate with the Engineering team to deploy models and provide input on user interface design
• Maintain best practices across multiple datasets and databases 
• Ensure code is well-documented and maintained for Sensor Fusion / Machine Learning applications.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Strong experience using C++ for developing algorithmic models.
• Proficient in designing and integrating algorithms for high-performance software, including sensor data.
• Experience in signal processing, time-series analysis, and sensor fusion.
• Preferred: ML/AI and data mining expertise, familiarity with heterogeneous computing and CUDA programming.
• Skilled in handling large data sets with varying latency requirements.
• Effective communicator, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with modern infrastructure and Linux environments.

Please note - Applicants must have Australian Citizenship as eligibility for an NV1 clearance is required and be in Sydney as this is a hybrid role.
