Job description

An opportunity for a business / functional consultant to work with a leading consultancy on a large program of work based in Melbourne, for an initial 6-month contract.
You will be responsible for leading implementation activities in conjunction with the Project Manager and Lead Technical SME. Responsible for eliciting and documenting business requirements to support the delivery of business solutions including current / future state process maps, business use cases, non-functional requirements, and data reporting requirements.

  • Work with the customer, Project Manager, Architects, Product Owners, Business Analysts and Engineers to assess current capabilities and identify high-level customer requirement
  • Determine the functional and non-functional requirements, and scheduling and/or conducting business use cases and solution walk-through
  • Gather requirements from the client, Impact analysis for existing implementations
  • Gap analysis and documentation
  • Creating the product configuration design.
  • Assists in translating requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria for application development and testing including user acceptance testing
  • Sales and presales support in new customer engagements and expanding scope within existing customers
Key Skills:
  • Deep experience in banking or financial services Industry (Retail Banking, Commercial Banking, Wealth Management, Billing and Pricing systems)
  • Deep experience in SDLC using both agile/scrum and traditional/waterfall methodologies
  • Domain knowledge of banking and financial institutions and/or large enterprise IT environment
  • Extensive Business Analyst Product configuration experience
  • Plan, organise and present business presentation
