Cloud Lead

On behalf of our global client, we are on the lookout for a Senior Cloud Lead to join a cross-functional Operations team that delivers the roadmap for the technologies/products and the overall business outcomes.
  
From an operational perspective, you will be driving the best architectural, security and reliability outcomes at scale for the Cloud Centre of Excellence. You will be responsible for Automation and self-service capabilities across the cloud space and BAU.
  
Key Responsibilities;

• Responsible for observability across the Cloud Platform and driving proactive alerting and monitoring.
• Working with multiple vendors in integrating their cloud platforms and services into the IT services environment.
• Responsible for Operations within Public Cloud technical and product roadmap and ability to communicate this to the wider Cloud consumers.
• Drive automation and system resilience
• Driving observability across the Cloud platform and setting SLI,
• SLA, SLO’s across public cloud services as well as manage costings
• Responsible for compliance with regulatory, legislative and policy requirements. Demonstrate action and control measures to protect confidentiality.  

Experience;

• Strong AWS Cloud Experience and enterprise-level security (PCI)
• Track record in Deployment, Automation, Architecture and Design at scale.
• Previously led teams
• Previously led IT strategy and have driven large scale functional solutions.
• Previous largescale cloud (AWS)
• Strong stakeholder management.
