Job description

Our client a service trade company are looking to add a content writer to their growing marketing team, someone who will create engaging advertising content, create positive brand awareness, and lead their Social Media Strategy.
  
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborating, drafting and developing content for monthly internal company newsletter and external customer newsletter.
  • Compose and publish relevant website blog content for viewers and provide updates when necessary by regularly reviewing existing content.
  • Creation of frequent social media posts to generate both ongoing interest with existing customers and gain the interest new customers who previously used other competitors in the area.
  • Working closely with marketing team to brainstorm new ideas and ensure strategies are well-aligned across disciplines to achieve successful results.
  • Ensuring all content produced is in line with SEO guidelines and broader digital marketing best practices, and will ensure a positive on-site experience for the user.
  • Project managing content development for marketing collateral to promote the brand.
  • Monitoring website performance via Google Analytics & creating content reports based on key client metrics.
Key Skills you'll have:
  • Experience with writing for a wide array of formats including website and landing page copy, eDM campaigns, case studies, blog posts and video scripts, social.
  • You are experienced in the writing and editing industry, including feature writing, online content creation, copywriting and editing.
  • curating social media content and managing social media calendar.
  • Proficient computer skills - knowledge of Google Suite would be an advantage.
  • Superior interpersonal skills that can be effectively communicated within your written content and verbal encounters will be highly regarded.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and proficient time management is highly recommended for this advertised job position.
  • A strong sense of teamwork including the ability to contribute to a positive team environment
  • Ability to suggest and identify solutions that can contribute towards solving potential problems that arise during delegated projects.
  • Familiar with keyword placement, SEO and content optimisation.

This role is a hybrid work model, with a couple of days per week from their Revesby office.
