Data Engineer

One of Australia's best-loved brands is scaling, and they are looking for great Data Engineers to join the team!
  
Working with the delivery team, you will be building, deploying and then maintaining highly scalable data pipelines on a variety of projects and products.
  
Along with a passion for data, we are looking for people who have experience building quality data products deployed into the cloud, and have experience with cloud DWH and CI/CD deployment and development processes.
  
What You’re Bringing:

• A university degree in IT (or related)
• 5 + years of experience in Data or Machine Learning engineering
• ANY cloud experience in AWS or GCP or Azure - we need some solid exposure to the cloud.
• A background in Software Engineering - you will be working with a very large code base
• Experience with Spark or PySpark
• Experience with Python and SQL
• Exposure to DevOps - you'll be deploying your pipelines and will need to be comfortable from the get-go.

You will have the opportunity to work on projects that are critical to the success of the business's digital strategy as they look to capitalise on a changing economy. However - you'll be paid well, treated to a flexible WFH/Remote working policy and a suite of discounts across some of the country's biggest brands (defeat inflation).
