Data Engineer / ETL Developer

I am working with one of my best clients as they look for a Data Engineer to keep building out their Azure-hosted Data Infrastructure. 

The tech stack is focused across DBT, Azure and Snowflake and you will be focused on ensuring that the Data stored across Snowflake is clean and accessible for the business. 

What you will be doing

• Work with the business to understand use cases for data requirements
• Developing data storage procedures
• Engineering simplified solutions to ensure an easy-to-use data warehouse
• Building and optimising SQL queries for various projects
• Identifying data quality issues and designing suitable remediation strategies

What you bring to the role

• Experience working with the cloud, Azure is preferred
• Knowledge and experience regarding modern Data Engineering techniques and Lake architecture
• Comfortable working with Power BI
• Exposure to Snowflake and DBT is advantageous
• Comfortable with data profiling, data analysis, and data mapping
• Extensive SQL knowledge and experience
• Experience implementing and supporting ETL
