Data Platform Lead / Data Platform Owner / Data Product Owner / Data Engineering Lead / Senior Data Analyst / Technical Business Analyst
We are excited to be exclusively partnering with one Australia’s most exciting FinTech’s who are looking to grow their data practice. Having just built a brand-new engineering team, you will own the interactions between the Business, and both the Analytics and Pipelines team to ensure a strong Data Strategy is delivered.
The role would really suit Product Owners, Product Leads or Engineering leads within the data space where you will be working with cross-functional teams ensuring the BI & Analytics Team & and the brand-new Data Pipelines team have seamless direction and deliverables with the Business.
As the Data Platform Lead, you will drive both team’s engineering practices throughout the SLDC. You will have a strong understanding of engineering concepts, CI/CD and be comfortable engaging with varying levels of stakeholders.

What You’ll Do:
- You will be focused on facilitating change within Data and building strong relationships with the Stakeholders who you’ll impact
- You’ll be translating the business’ data needs into user stories and tech requirements, as well as ensuring requirements are validated and meaningful to both the business and the data teams
- Ensuring that you are across the organisation’s data trends, policies and practises
- You will be instrumental in growing the innovative culture within Data and promoting cross-collaboration through a strong focus on Agile methodologies
- 2 + years in a Data Platform Owner, Data Product Owner, Senior Data Analyst or Senior Tech BA
- A technical background, ideally within Data Engineering
- Strong requirement gathering and analysis, and problem-solving skills
- Strong knowledge of data analysis, mapping, modelling and migration
- Experience within ETL and CI/CD deployment pipelines
- Up to date with data methodologies including Snowflake, Kimball and related
