DBA / Database Administrator / Cloud Engineer / DevOps
Brand new role for an experienced DBA to be able to work across and modern Agile Fintech environment and gain experience in Cloud and DevOps.
I am looking for an experienced DBA, to work with one of Australia’s fastest-growing household names which will give you exposure to a modern Cloud environment. You will continue to build out the database and cloud environment working with the latest tools and tech.
Not only will you be supporting, tuning and developing the Azure and on-prem hosted databases, you will also be working with parts of the business to identify areas of growth within the system. You will also be collaborating with the platforms team on database development and on DevOps projects.
You will also be providing robust data solutions, and supporting a variety of systems for the business. This will ensure that support standards for security, controls and both database performance and availability are fully met.

You’ll Bring:
- Prior experience in administering an Azure cloud database environment.
- Exposure to Azure DevOps, as well as CI/CD techniques and deployment pipelines
- Advanced SQL experience
- Experience designing and implementing controls for group-wide database risk monitoring
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and working with 3rd party vendors and consultants
- Experience continually improving processes and self-service capabilities of the data platform
- Experience providing 3rd level DBA support to the business and vendors
