Job description

I'm looking for a Gun eCommerce manager/specialist to contribute to the growth of an FMCG business to establish optimum website functionality to maximise e-commerce revenue and profit delivery across both owned and partner platforms, collaborating with marketing and creative teams to deliver an exceptional user experience and best in class brand positioning.
  
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Revenue and Profit budgets
  • Build and execute digital strategies in line with revenue goals.
  • Recommend investment to support strategy implementation and manage costs within budget to deliver profitability targets.
  • Work collaboratively with the brand team, creative director and junior content producer.
  • Daily management and optimisation of eCommerce website.
  • Utilise web analytics to identify actionable improvements to further convert visitors and target new consumers.
  • Conduct regular marketing research, reporting and analytics to provide valuable industry, consumer, and competitor insights, providing recommendations for how these can be utilised across the business to inform future decision making.
  • Devise plans and activities to drive website traffic, heighten brand awareness, strengthen customer retention, and build a superior online reputation.
  • Analyse traffic to inform website maintenance and the effectiveness of marketing strategies.
  • Develop and maintain an exceptional user experience.
  • Work with the marketing team to plan and execute marketing campaigns that build the brand in line with the eCommerce strategy
  • Ensure all product information is up to date and consistent across the eCommerce footprint
You will have:
  • 5+ years experience in retail eCommerce operations gained with consumer brands.
  • Thorough understanding of eCommerce and omni channel retail operations, with a passion for online customer experience and the latest trends in online shopping.
  • Experience across all aspects of the eCommerce customer journey, from driving website traffic through to platform performance, web development, Merchandising, supply chain and fulfilment.
  • Demonstrable track record of devising sales-enhancing strategies.
  • Highly operational and 'hands on' with a pragmatic, structured and end to end approach
  • Maintains a working knowledge of SEM including keyword research and Google Analytics.
