Java Engineering Manager | Sydney
This is a rare opportunity for an Engineering Manager to join an established tech-driven Fintech company who are on a massive growth Journey!
Your current title doesn't matter so if you are an Engineering Manager then great! If you're a Java Tech Lead, Development Manager, Head of Engineering, Head of Architecture, or CTO - please also apply.
However, you will need to come from a solid Java/Kotlin background and be able to remain 20-30% hands-on at times across the code and architecture.
Outside of this, you will help manage and scale their tech team whilst helping the company grow to the next level!
They are well established, and very profitable but like to run like a startup. So your role will involve you wearing many different hats!

This is a key position so requires someone who has the technical experience, drive, and leadership acumen to help steer product development and technical delivery successfully through a lean/agile product development process.
We’re looking for someone who’s excited about the prospect of helping scale an engineering team, and define the next steps of the business whilst also helping your team members improve and grow - and you know how to get the most out of people!
This is a role signed off and ready to go and the start date is ideally in the next Month. The salary (+bonus) will match your experience and the skill set you can bring to the table.
