One of Australia's largest retail companies is looking to expand one of their data teams, specifically by adding a new ETL Developer You will be across the full ETL and reporting lifecycle and be building out the reporting and analytics capability of the team.
As an ETL Developer, you will be working with data end-to-end with data to ensure that reporting requirements from the business are being met. You will be providing technical expertise, delivery and consulting across Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, Data Migration and Data Integration for a range of projects.

As an ETL Developer, you will be working with data end-to-end with data to ensure that reporting requirements from the business are being met. You will be providing technical expertise, delivery and consulting across Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, Data Migration and Data Integration for a range of projects.
More specifically, the successful candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Minimum 3 + years experience in an ETL/Data Analyst position.
- Cloud Experience – GCP and Big Query is preferred, although Azure or AWS and the associated DWH technology will also be considered
- Experience in the design and implementation of ETL processes
- Previous experience working with Tableau
- An aptitude for problem-solving, abstract- & critical-thinking
- Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written
- Ability to learn and use new technologies quickly & effectively
- Ability to read and understand solution design documents
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field (desirable)
- Excellent business-facing skills, including requirements gathering and stakeholder management
