Event Marketing Specialist

Our Client is looking for an Events Marketing Specialist to join their growing Marketing Team.

As an Event Marketing Specialist, you will work as part of the Marketing team and in collaboration with the Partnerships team to deliver outstanding events.
  
You will ensure they present at the most relevant industry events for their target audience, create amazing event experiences for prospects and partners.
You will be responsible for planning and executing events ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget and providing the best possible brand exposure and experiences. 
  
Responsibilities

• Research, plan, budget and execute all event activities.
• Build relationships with industry contacts, venue account managers, conference account managers, and partner marketing managers to understand the event landscape and ensure we are at represented at the events with the best possible ROI.
• Ensure leads from events are collected and tracked to ensure attribution.
• Liaise with the marketing, partnerships and sales team to ensure appropriate post-event follow up.
• Hold post-event retrospectives and provide analysis and reporting to demonstrate ROI and optimise for future events.

Requirements

• Experience in event management, preferably eCommerce or SaaS.
• Degree qualified in a relevant discipline.
• International event experience is desirable.
• You must have exceptional attention to detail and possess outstanding organisational skills.
• You are naturally curious, question how and why, whilst being a problem solver, able to connect the dots, or pivot if required.
• You are a strategic doer, someone who has the ability to see the bigger picture but can also act, and move quickly.
• You will need to collaborate across multiple teams; marketing, partnerships and sales, so being a team player is essential
• Have a solid understanding of the event industry and competitive landscape.
