Head of Data / Data Science Manager / Data Science Chapter Lead / Head of Data Science

We are seeking an experienced Data Science Leader to drive the strategy and performance of a leading Analytics company's Data Science team
  
Ideally an established leader, your role will see you remain hands-on delivering robust, technical models, whilst leading the team and maintaining a high level of stakeholder engagement and management. 
  
What You’ll Do:

• Grow and develop the data roadmap and strategy
• Develop the team from a technical and cultural perspective
• Remain hands-on - part of your role will focus on project delivery
• Work with senior stakeholders to identify areas of growth through data
• Continually improving the data process and ensuring that best practice is maintained
• Continue to grow the Data Science team, ensuring that the culture you’re building is upheld

What You’ll Bring:

• Strong Data Science/Machine Learning skills and experience
• Experience leading Data professionals. You need to understand how a Data stream works and how the function needs to be managed.
• Strong experience with C-Suite stakeholders. The C-team will be your main stakeholders, as well as others at the ‘Head of’ level, and experience with these groups is compulsory.
• A strong understanding of Data Science and Python programming

On offer is the chance to lead a high performing Data Science team on a number of business-critical projects, whilst engaging with stakeholders across the executive team. This will be a challenging role, however, the Data team already has a great culture and you will receive a market-leading package, whilst having the ability to WFH/ Work Remotely (within Australia).
