Role & Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Leadership team to introduce, own & implement an overall design strategy & framework
- Collaborate with product & engineering teams to develop and refine the companies product vision, building new concepts and ideas
- You will establish & implement best practices when it comes to design processes & techniques in the teams
- Lead & conduct user research, develop persona profiles, customer journey mapping & other user discovery techniques
- Develop & own the companies style guide for the product from the ground up
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, interaction designs, UI specs & more as part of product discovery
- Conduct user testing to test & validate design concepts
- Collaborate closely with the delivery team to ensure successful & aligned delivery Requirements This is an experienced role, and the ideal candidate would exhibit the following:
Key Skills & Experience
- Experience 8yrs + in a lead Product Role or similar position bringing products to life, scaling teams, and setting the standards and processes for the business
- Strong teamwork and leadership skills
- Proven ability to use data insights, research, and testing methodologies to inform business decisions
- A drive for product innovation, quality, and excellence with a passion for creating new experiences
- Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
- Product development experience creating features on b2b or b2c products enterprise domains & problems Demonstrated competence in visual & interaction design & prototyping
- Proven ability to develop product strategies and effectively communicate these to executive management, ideally with a hands-on approach to understanding the product & users to develop the design strategy
- Ability to be able to work autonomously to engage users & run best-practice design processes
- Strong project management skills; process-oriented, organised, and detailed
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills, including assessing situations, evaluating options, and coming up with recommendations
- An ability to multitask and manage priorities based on opportunity, risk, and impact on the business
- Flexible and pragmatic working styles to adapt to various personalities in cross-functional teams
