Machine Learning Engineer

We are looking for a Data / Machine Learning role, based in Sydney, to build and scale an MLOps environment for use with a variety of systems across the globe in one of Australia's fastest-growing tech companies!

Given the nature of the business, you will be working with a variety of Sensors, Image Processing and other physical methods of data capture and processing. 

What You'll Do:

• Construct and sustain MLOps data pipelines to capture and administer data from global devices
• Formulate scalable software modules that facilitate data-driven backend applications utilizing Python/C++
• Devising processes to manage and monitor training data sets, machine learning models, and metrics
• Monitor and supervise SQL and NoSQL databases for analytics and data storage
• Leverage cloud technologies within the AWS Cloud Data stack

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a relevant technical field or equivalent practical experience
• 3+ years in a commercial Data Science, ML Engineer or Data Engineer role
• Strong Computer Vision 
• Adept in Python, and C++, with strong SQL skills
• Capable of designing, developing, and maintaining backend software architectures
• Proficient in utilizing design patterns and test-driven development 
• Strong business and stakeholder engagement experience
