Job description

Our client a global SaaS company is looking for a PR & Social Media Manager, who will be responsible for developing and executing their global Social Media & Communication strategy.
  
You’ll be a seasoned storyteller with an innate understanding of what makes a good story for different audiences, developing creative angles and unearthing unique stories across the business that will proactively build the presence of the brand.
  
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the global, always on Press Office, working closely with their retained PR agency to coordinate interviews, data and quotes for proactive and reactive media requests.
  • Review and manage approvals for byline articles, press releases, pitches, and other external facing media materials
  • Create strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to tell stories including coordinating spokesperson and case study opportunities across the business, hospitality, tech, and consumer lifestyle media whilst mitigating reputational risks
  • Develop and implement a social media strategy to build, nurture and grow the global social media presence aligned with their B2B and B2C business goals
  • Execute on the social media strategy by collaborating with Marketing team members to create content, schedule posts, conduct campaigns, and manage brand communities.
  • Create bold, creative and inspiring earned media campaigns across PR and social media to position the brand as a thought leader in the hospitality and technology space.
  • Manage the social media accounts for our Executive team, ensuring there is a regular stream of content on their profiles
  • Manage the awards program through developing a calendar of opportunities to profile our people and our business, and coordinating materials, quotes and statistics for submissions.
 
 Key Skills:  
  • 3+ years experience in a similar position with demonstrated results either in an in-house or agency role working on the client side, for businesses with a strong brand presence.
  • Demonstrated experience in and a love for creating snappy copy, you know what is trending and how to write about it.
  • Experience collaborating with PR agencies to deliver exceptional content and communications to a global audience.
  • Experience using Salesforce CRM and social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook.
  • Being highly organised and having strong attention to detail are a must.
  • You love and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
This role is based in Sydney with a Hybrid work model in place.
