We are looking for a Technical Lead that is passionate about solving complex problems. You will be working alongside the executive team to help develop the team to excel in their work and nurture an engineering culture as the company grows.
The role would suit someone from a development background who has prior experience and knowledge of driving best practices and mentoring/leading developers. Having leadership experience will be beneficial or you may have aspirations to move into a more senior role.
Responsibilities would include being close to code, perhaps contributing from time to time. You’d consult with the executives to improve their technical training schedule, create and maintain a hiring strategy based around skills gaps, interview and recruit developers, conduct code reviews whilst remaining a technical member of the team.

What we are looking for:
- You have good knowledge of Java, microservices and have SpringBoot experience
- you have a good working knowledge of the following: Kafka, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, RESTful API, Kotlin
- Strong working experience in Javascript, CSS, and React.js
- Experience with GraphQL, AWS Amplify, AWS Lambdas, AWS Cognito
- You have a strong background in fundamentals such as OOP, Data Structures and Algorithms
- Ideally, you will have previous experience of working in a financial services environment
- Collaborative by nature, enjoy working in teams
- Pragmatic when approaching problems, be inquisitive
