Site Reliability Engineer

Site Reliability Engineer (AWS, EKS & Kubernetes).

We are looking for an SRE who will thrive within a hugely successful start-up environment. You will be joining a fast-paced, high performing engineering team working on the latest tech to hand.

You’ll be responsible for ensuring the quality of development and delivery of their products to a widespread client base.

You’ll utilise a range of tools and technologies including Kubernetes, AWS, EKS, Ansible and Terraform.

Desired Experience

• Experience Troubleshooting and monitoring distributed systems (at scale) running on Kubernetes
• CDE & Security (DevSecOps) experience
• Advanced Containers and or Linux experience
• High-level automation experience
• Experience with Kubernetes as the end-user.
• Proficient in Terraform & Ansible

About The Role

• Automate the build and release through their build pipelines
• Ensure the Kubernetes environment runs smoothly
• Improve our platform, monitoring and observability capability
• Ensure the IaC offering with new functionality and improvements
• Automate build and release processes and build pipelines

The office is based in Sydney (however we will consider fully remote candidates) not to mention, you’ll be joining a friendly and supportive team. 

You’ll have oversight of how systems relate to each other; limit time spent on operational tasks; automate wherever possible; carry out blameless post-mortems and proactively identify potential outages, continually iterating to make improvements.
