TheDriveGroup has exclusively partnered with the biggest household name in the commerce space to help deliver their multi-million $$ digital transformation.
We're on the hunt for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) across Azure and/or GCP to work with multiple squads in the business to drive their project pipeline.
You will bring experience across cross-functional and agile working methods to define and drive their transformation roadmap.
This company are passionate about using the latest tools and tech in a highly innovative and collaborative environment. This is an opportunity to work with an Australian icon, with huge scope for progression and personal development.
You will primarily be working across Observability, and event intelligence and provide insights to enable reliability and scalability for their Customer Facing Technology.
The Role:
This is a fully remote role for Australia, however, Sydney-based candidates are preferred.

You will primarily be working across Observability, and event intelligence and provide insights to enable reliability and scalability for their Customer Facing Technology.
The Role:
- Defining and driving observability and resilient systems, setting the future engineering direction in this space.
- Identifying areas for improvement and driving technical change to automate operational outcomes, maximising reliability and minimising recovery time.
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
- Implementation of APM solutions, such as Dynatrace and automation where needed
- Passionate for monitoring and observability
- Extensive observability and monitoring experience across multiple tool sets
- Experience implementing SRE capability in an enterprise setting
- Cloud experience across Microsoft Azure and/or GCP
- High-level, secure code production: .NET, Python, Java or Golang
- Cloud Infrastructure experience across Kubernetes, Docker, Azure, GCP,
- Experienced in implementing Circuit Breakers, Fault Tolerance & Resilience frameworks.
- Track record of implementing Dynatrace across a diverse tech stack
