Support Engineer / Operations Engineer / Application Support

We are working with a fast-growing tech company that is looking to appoint a number of key positions over the coming months to help with the continued growth and expansion of the business.

Due to their huge success over the past 12 months, they are looking for a passionate support engineer to work with the development team to help with the development of a number of new key features, for their main management platform.
  
What they are looking for:
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Experience with Loggly, Cloudwatch;
  • Linux;
  • Database (Postgres and/or MongoDB);
  • Experience with database administration, web servers, monitoring, automation, logging;
  • Previous experience as an Operations Engineer, Application Support, Server Administrator or similar;
  • Supporting a 24x7 system;
  • Previous experience with AWS or other cloud platforms;
What you will be doing:
  • Monitor the support requests coming in from the business and resolve in an accurate and
  • timely manner
  • Support the existing technology and process exceptions;
  • Manage the IT infrastructure (laptop assets etc).
  • Manage IT security within the business
