    We are working closely with one of Australia's most successful Defence tech businesses as they capitalise on huge market share and scale their data team.  As the new Senior Data Engineer, you will have an immediate impact by designing, developing and scaling new and existing data infrastructure. This infrastructure will have an immediate and direct impact on the success of the team's products, translating into real-world success for clients across the planet.  What You'll do Work with the business to design, implement and maintain data architecture meeting requirements Develop, deploy and maintain high-quality data processing infrastructure, focusing on data obtained through a variety of sensors Consditently automate where possible and ensure best practice is maintained Develop pipelines and manipulate data through SQL and Python Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers What You'll Bring  Tertiary degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field  7 + years working across Data Engineering, focusing on SQL and Python, C++ and GoLang experience is also advantageous.  Experience working with DBT, Dagster or related Strong MLOps experience, including deploying ML models into productions Prior experience working with Sensor-based data is highly regarded Join an exceptional team in a dynamic and challenging environment, and take part in scaling an already top-notch capability with practical applications.
