They will be implementing a SaaS platform and need a Senior Project Manager to join the team and lead from discovery. The right candidate is someone who can work autonomously to implement best practices. This is a brand-new implementation project for a well-known company that is trying to improve fuel efficiency. This is a really exciting and innovative program of work that should run well over 12 months. You will be supported by the wider team and report to the Program Lead, the software's end goal is to update key stakeholders in real time which enables them to complete the day-to-day duties that have critical importance.   • Technical Project Manager

    Overview One of our government partners is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their dynamic team in Canberra. This role will play a pivotal part in supporting strategic initiatives, focusing on the Enterprise Digital Capabilities and Integration Platform projects. Key Responsibilities: Lead the scoping, planning, implementation, and reporting of assigned projects, ensuring adherence to agreed standards and tolerances. Effectively manage project resources, coordinating with business SMEs, solution architects, testers, and developers to deliver project outcomes. Develop comprehensive project management documentation, including business cases, project plans, reports, and post-implementation reviews. Proactively manage project risks, escalate and resolve issues as they arise. Collaborate with stakeholders to support project procurement activities, including RFQs/Tenders and evaluation reports. Cultivate and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders and executive sponsors. Facilitate project-related change management, ensuring clear and consistent communication with active engagement. Requirements: Government experience essential Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in large-scale IT projects or digital transformation initiatives. Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools. Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization. Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget. Solid experience in managing project procurement activities and vendor relationships. Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Relevant qualifications in project management or a related field (e.g., PMP certification) would be advantageous.
