Delivery Manager | Digital Project Manager | Iteration Manager | Scrum Master

We are looking for a passionate and energetic Delivery Manager / Scrum Master to work with world-class designers, architects and developers to contribute to the continued success of this exciting global Fin Tech platform that is available across web and mobile.

You will be joining one of Australias most trusted and well-known brands with a global footprint and more recently accredited for their innovation in the tech space. They are looking for people that will challenge the status quo and are passionate about building quality products for its customers. They have built everything from scratch with the latest tools and tech and continue to invest in the latest tools and welcome any suggestions about emerging tech that will help keep them at the forefront of the technical space.

The ADM’s responsibility is to facilitate agile delivery within the product development teams. This means working closely with the development and business team to deliver products and features. You will also work with the wider teams to remove impediments, learn best practice and work to continuously improve processes and working practices.
 
They recognise that agile delivery methodologies bring huge advantages to the business but believe that every team is slightly different and may prefer to work in slightly different ways. They use agile as a framework and take a practical approach that works for each team rather than sticking to a rigid set of agile rules with no room for flexibility.
 
 
What you will be doing
 
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups,  sprint planning, show and tells and retrospectives with the team
  • Work closely with the Product Owner
  • Work with the Product Owner and/or the Business to prioritise requirements according to constraints such as time and budget and focus on the Minimum Viable Product
  • Assist the team in the definition of user stories
  • Setup and manage Kanban boards both physical and electronic (eg. JIRA and Trello)
  • Generate reports and forecasts on predicted and actual velocity
  • Work with ATS Product Management and Programme Management teams to plan product roadmap, delivery timetable and create delivery plans with agreed milestone dates
  • Act as lead for troubleshooting blockers for the team, such as environmental, infrastructure, software issues, 3rd party dependencies
  • Keep team morale high and be attentive to team member well-being
  • Empower the team to self-organise and improve
  • Facilitate discussions and run workshops
  • Coach teams to be highly performing
  • Continuously improve project and software development process
  • Ensure that the Business and Operations are clear about release plans and formal change processes adhered to
  • Actively collaborate with other teams in ITV and contribute to the Agile community
  • Work with team and management to promote best practice approaches for the development of continuous integration pipelines, test automation, and development of microservices
  • Work with management to review resource plans and team organisation

Highly Desirable
  • Technical Background - Java / Mobile  / Web
  • Worked in a Start-Up Environment
  • FinTech Background 
  • Agile Certification /Scrum Certification
