Job description
One of Australia’s largest banking organisations is looking to hire an experienced Data Engineer to work on a large cloud migration within a large call-centre environment. This is a strategic modernisation project as the business looks to continue to build on the analytical capacity of the call centre operations.
As a Data Engineer, you will use your strong experience in API Data Integration to migrate the existing Data Warehouse into a fully cloud-hosted environment. Given the nature of the current system, only API Integration and data streaming is possible, so your strong experience in this area will see you succeed in the role.
What You Will Bring to the Role:
We are looking to have the right candidate on-boarded for an early February start date, and are able to book interviews with the hiring manager from the 10th of January.

What You Will Bring to the Role:
- Strong knowledge of integrating data through an API into an Azure or GCP data warehouse.
- Experience working across the Azure DWH stack or the GCP DWH stack
- Strong working knowledge and experience with APIs, ideally Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS) REST API or Pub Sub API
- Exposure to the Genesys Cloud platform, or any other call centre platform is highly advantageous
- Exposure to data streaming via GCP or Azure tools is favourable
