Big Data Engineers x 2 / Contract
We are looking for data engineers with Big Data expertise, specifically in the Apache Hadoop Suite on the Cloudera platform. This is for a multi-million dollar multi-year program of work.

We are looking for data engineers with Big Data expertise, specifically in the Apache Hadoop Suite on the Cloudera platform. This is for a multi-million dollar multi-year program of work.
Key Skills
- SQL data analysis skills
- 3-4 years of hands-on experience in PySpark
- Hands-on experience in batch tools - > Hadoop, Spark (Must), Hbase, HIVE (Must)
- Big Data/Hadoop projects experience - preferably on Cloudera stack
- Oozie/Airflow scheduler skills
- GitHub processes and commands
- Experience working in Agile teams
Nice to Have:
- Cloud Certification will be a big plus
- Hands-on experience in Streaming tools
- Hands-on experience in Streaming tools
These are 12-month contracts with a view to extending and they are also open to offering a perm role for the right person.
