Data Scientist | 6 Month Contract | $650-$730/Day!

Our client is a well known and well respected leader within the retail space, with multiple stores across Australia. Due to continued high performance throughout Covid-19, they are looking for TWO Data Scientists to join their Melbourne team on contractual basis for an initial 6 months.

About the role - 

• As a Data Scientist, you will use your prior experience and knowledge to contribute actionable insight to the business
• Using skills across predictive analytics, modelling, and machine learning, you will build predictive forecasts to generate additional revenue for the business
• You will also provide analysis around strategies to save costs and manage spend more efficiently
• The Data Scientist will work with multiple team members, across Data, IT, Purchasing, Marketing and more

About you - 

• To be considered for this position, you must have previous experience working in a Data Scientist capacity
• Solid experience with tools such as SQL, Python and/or R will be paramount to your success in the role
• Cloud experience is a must, however, experience with any of AWS, GCP or Azure will be considered
• Exposure to and a familiarity with Machine Learning tools, technologies and techniques will be highly regarded
