DevOps Engineer

I'm working with a scale-up based here in Sydney, looking to hire their first DevOps engineer to contribute across their cutting-edge platform offering.

The role:

Currently, the team are looking to add a DevOps focused individual to the engineering team. This is a tight-knit team so culture fit is important, soft skills such as teamwork, collaboration, time management etc will be under consideration. 

Additional points: 

• Work across all aspects of DevOps including CI/CD, observability, scaling, monitoring and alerting 
• Work on AWS services, Terraform, Docker, CI and other tools 
• Work closely with the wider teams to make sure features are delivered efficiently 

About you: 

• Self-driven, passionate and hungry to learn 
• Can take initiative and present new ideas 
• Operate in an environment using AWS, Docker and Terraform 
• Good understanding of AWS architecture 
• Strong scripting capability (Shell, Bash etc)
