What aspects of this job will improve your life?
You will be working in the data team on a significant data warehousing and ETL project. This is for an on premise data project which will require significant development. There is opportunity to work across cloud technologies and up skill in this space in the long term which will offer you the ability to take this experience back to the data market in the future. Perhaps more importantly, the high visibility internally will offer you a high level of empowerment & self-actualisation.
About the role
You will work closely with the Melbourne based data team .The end goal of this position is to enhance the current data warehouse and provide a foundation to drive the organisations data strategy.
Duties
- Extract, Transform and Load data with SSIS
- Development and extracting data from various sources
- An on premise data warehouse project
- Be part of a data team and work with them to deliver key outcomes
- Opportunity to help migrate data to the cloud (technology yet to be decided)
What is required
- Must have ETL experience for at least 7 plus years experience as a senior & at least 5 years as a mid-level
- Must have used SSIS, Informatica or Datastage for ETL
- Must have worked on multiple data warehousing projects
- Excellent communication skills
- Commercial experience required
