Job description

Our financial services client is looking for a PR & Content Specialist to join them on a 12-month contract.
The PR and Content Specialist assists with the company’s public relations and content development /management by publishing content, research whitepapers and other communications assets.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage content, ensure accurate blog and research uploads
  • Liaise with stakeholders
  • Conduct blog audits
  • Write, proofread, and sub-edit blog content
  • Collaborate on PR content with Comms manager and Head of Comms, Content & Community.
  • Engage stakeholders for PR asset creation and SEO optimization
  • Oversee PR and research agency operations, ensuring timelines and KPIs are met
  • Innovate and engage with media and influencers
  • Oversee and update the Communications Calendar
  • Manage daily media reports and monthly reporting with the Comms Manager
Key Skills and Experience:
  • Tertiary qualifications in communications, public relations, digital marketing, or equivalent experience
  • A passion for creating quality content and research is essential to the role, as well as strong public relations.
  • Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) like or WordPress
  • Proactive approach to researching, developing, writing, and pitching stories to media
  • Strong understanding of the media landscape
  • Self-starter with strong relationship-building skills across marketing
  • Excellent written skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of SEO concepts and digital platforms
  • Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders in a complex business environment
