Our financial services client is looking for a PR & Content Specialist to join them on a 12-month contract.
The PR and Content Specialist assists with the company’s public relations and content development /management by publishing content, research whitepapers and other communications assets.

The PR and Content Specialist assists with the company’s public relations and content development /management by publishing content, research whitepapers and other communications assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage content, ensure accurate blog and research uploads
- Liaise with stakeholders
- Conduct blog audits
- Write, proofread, and sub-edit blog content
- Collaborate on PR content with Comms manager and Head of Comms, Content & Community.
- Engage stakeholders for PR asset creation and SEO optimization
- Oversee PR and research agency operations, ensuring timelines and KPIs are met
- Innovate and engage with media and influencers
- Oversee and update the Communications Calendar
- Manage daily media reports and monthly reporting with the Comms Manager
Key Skills and Experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in communications, public relations, digital marketing, or equivalent experience
- A passion for creating quality content and research is essential to the role, as well as strong public relations.
- Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) like Kontent.ai or WordPress
- Proactive approach to researching, developing, writing, and pitching stories to media
- Strong understanding of the media landscape
- Self-starter with strong relationship-building skills across marketing
- Excellent written skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of SEO concepts and digital platforms
- Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders in a complex business environment
