QA Engineer

We have a position for a QA Engineer working as part of a high-performing Software Engineering team, the company have had an excellent start to 2024 and has major goals for the coming years. 

You will be a part of the team that is further developing the company's high-functioning platform and making sure the quality of the platform stays high. Key components of the role are to develop the QA processes and develop the metrics across the platform. 

Key responsibilities:

• Performance testing to ensure functional testing of the new features is in line with the overall performance 
• Build an automation framework for testing within CI/CD processes 
• Using Selenium to implement and maintain the frameworks 
• Integration testing to ensure the successful integration of new tech via end-to-end testing 
• Working with the production team to support different types of testing 
• Also working with the dev team to ensure all types of testing are fully compliant 
• User acceptance testing in order to provide assistance to ensure the software releases are stable 
• Work with the wider organisation to uplift QA metrics and test plans 

Your background:

• Degree in Computer Engineering or a similar technical field 
• Experience of Verification and Validation testing 
• Experience with AI/ML 
• 3 to 5 years of experience in QA and testing 
• Specific experience using Atlassian tools such as JIRA and Confluence 
• Previous demonstrable experience in helping shape QA teams and procedures
• Experience working within an ISO 9001 environment
