As a Security Consultant you will provide expert advice and guidance on information security, cyber security, and risk responsibilities to clients and management. You will conduct risk assessments, develop security plans and policies, and offer training and support to ensure the security of clients' assets and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct security and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Develop security architecture templates and contribute to Information Security Management frameworks, policies, and standards.
• Implement security plans and policies covering various aspects, including Business Strategy, Risk Management, Governance, IT, Disaster Recovery, and Business Continuity.
• Advise clients on best practices for protecting their assets and operations from security threats.
• Monitor and analyse security trends and keep clients informed of potential threats and emerging risks.
• Educate internal staff on information and IT security-related matters.

Experience:

• 4 years of experience in IT Compliance/Auditing.
• Experience in Cyber security threat hunting and incident response management.
• 4 years of experience in designing and implementing ICT security policies and practices.
• Strong knowledge of Technology Risk and Information Security frameworks and standards.

Desirable Qualifications:

• BA in ICT or equivalent.
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
• Certified Information Security Auditor (CISA) or similar certifications.
• Current driver’s license with no restrictions.

Due to working with government clients you must be an Australian citizen and undergo a police check.
