Job description

Our financial services client is looking for an SEM Specialist to contribute to the growth and development of new business performance through the optimisation of leads and conversions via paid search channels.
This role would suit someone who has 2+ years of working within a performance marketing function, the client is happy to look at someone Junior and will provide training.
  
Responsibilities of the role; 
  • Carry out detailed keyword research for SEM projects based on brand requirements.   
  • Monitor campaign results, analyse key metrics and suggest changes that will optimize performance metrics (mainly CPL) to improve profits.
  • Track, report, and analyse website analytics and SEM initiatives and campaigns.
  • Closely monitor Competitor activity within selected accounts and communicating back to the broader marketing group
  • Daily campaign management, including optimization of bids, keywords, query and negatives to adhere to CPL target
  • Execute bid testing in order to adhere to CPL targets and ultimately achieve maximum profit in SEM campaigns
  • Manage our Reporting channels, set up alerts and identify any anomalies through daily, weekly, monthly performance
 Skills & experience; 
  • Solid understanding of Search advertising (Google & Bing), proficient in using editor and campaign planning tools
  • Proficient with SEM best practices and preferably Google Ads & Microsoft Ads certified
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
    Strong analytic skills and ability to relate results to brand business objectives
  • High attention to detail around creative and QA reviews
  • Self-motivated and thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to multi-task, organize, prioritize and structure workload
  • Proactive, assertive and a good team-player
  • Demonstrates a passion learn and grow within the digital marketing space, and new developments in this area
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to manage a diverse portfolio of clients or stakeholders
