Join a Melbourne-based start-up advancing healthcare through digital innovation. Our partner is dedicated to enhancing the workflows of healthcare professionals and personalised patient treatment through utilising the capabilities of speech-to-text and LLM's.    

What You Will Do:
As a Senior iOS Developer, you will play a pivotal role in crafting NLP and GPT AI tools, encompassing speech-to-text capabilities and multimodal AI transformer technologies.

Your primary focus will be constructing a sophisticated AI platform, aimed at offering unparalleled healthcare support, with a priority on developing practical productivity aids for healthcare professionals. This role presents a distinctive opportunity to contribute to substantial strides in healthcare technology, thereby refining the day-to-day functions of healthcare providers and ultimately elevating patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain iOS applications using Swift, with a strong
understanding of UIKit and SwiftUI.
• Implement advanced features in data handling, NLP, speech recognition,
and text extraction from images.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship
new features.
• Ensure robust code quality, organization, and automatization.
• Actively participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge
sharing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a
related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in iOS development
• Expertise in Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI. 
• An understanding of Google Cloud Platform, AWS and related technologies.
• Interest/experience showcasing NLP, speech recognition, and OCR projects.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Good communication skills and a people-person attitude.

The package on offer for this role is $140k - $160k + super + equity
