Job description

Our client is looking for a Special Projects Manager who will be accountable for coordinating and executing internal projects.
This role will set up the PMO function, and be the first of its kind within the business. 

You will be working closely with stakeholders, ensuring the successful completion of the project to the satisfaction of all parties involved whilst maintaining a strong and positive relationship with stakeholders.
Achieving all activities in line with the Company’s strategy, values, policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance/lead with all company projects ensuring the company agreed PMO approach is followed as signed off by Executive Chairman.
  • Create and execute project plans, including deadlines, spec, assets, budget, vendor coordination, status updates, approvals and final delivery.
  • Prepare & collate regular leadership reports of all non-IT PMO activities
  • Own project budget, scope, schedule and resources.
  • Collaborate with project sponsors to understand, take briefs, and provide service to the project objectives.
  • Provide project support and/or project lead to any area of the business. This may include (but not limited to) corporate events, onboarding new systems, new agency set up, new product development for house brands and internal corporate group projects.
  • Develop creative concepts for projects and generate ideas for special projects based on business goals.
  • Deliver presentations to internal teams, as required.
  • Provide research support on any requested projects.
  • Provide status of projects, work in progress and briefing new work/projects
  • Ensure compliance with the company standards of quality, Environment and Workplace Health & Safety.
Key Experience :
  • Project Management Certification.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects.
  • Excellent stakeholder management & engagement.
  • FMCG / Retail project experience.
  • Ability to Proactively plan & manage conflicting demand
  • Excellent attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure, to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Undertakes regular review of work practices to identify areas for improvement.
